The brief(s)

Four very different businesses, one requirement in common: a mark that fits them and nothing else. A card entertainer, an acrobatics brand, an entertainment company, and a media brand that lives on video.

What we built

AL Grose’s ace-of-spades monogram — the initials hiding inside the suit of his trade. The MIIX wordmark with a handstand concealed in the letterforms, because the brand is acrobatic and so is the logo. The Edllusion Entertainment identity. And for CW, a mark born animated: a gold orbit that plays before every video, plus the showreel montage it anchors.

The details that mattered

Every one of these passes the squint test — recognisable at favicon size, in one colour, on a dark or light ground. And each carries exactly one idea. Two ideas in a logo make a mush that carries none; one idea, executed hard, becomes a signature.

The takeaway for your business

A logo is the cheapest employee you’ll ever hire — it introduces you a thousand times a day. Brief it like a hire: one job, done memorably, everywhere. And if your brand lives on video, ask for the animated version up front; a mark in motion is a signature twice over.
