The brief
A private chef’s product is the plate, so the pictures are the pitch. This chef’s food was luxury-tier; the phone photos representing it were not. The gap between the two was costing bookings every week.
What we built
A menu’s worth of hero dishes shot properly — lobster, mussels, rack of lamb, beef carpaccio — and the three-panel PRIVATE CHEF brand card that packages them for sharing. The same shoot feeds the website, the socials, and the WhatsApp message that closes a dinner inquiry.
The details that mattered
Dark backgrounds and hard side-light make white plates and red shells look expensive — the photography vocabulary of every restaurant the client’s customers already love. And every shot is framed to survive a square crop, because that’s where it will actually live.
The takeaway for your business
Three unforgettable photos beat thirty adequate ones. Identify your lobster — the single product that photographs best and prices highest — and spend the shoot making it iconic. The rest of the menu rides its coattails.
