The brief
An evening-length illusion show needed artwork that promises spectacle before the curtain moves — the kind of poster that makes a couple change their Friday plans.
What we built
A show poster series with old-theatre-marquee energy: electric purples, gold display type, a leading man in a top hat lit like a legend. Two poster variants for different venues and seasons, plus live-show photography captured for the next season’s promo cycle.
The details that mattered
Theatre posters compete against movie marketing budgets, so restraint wins: one figure, one title treatment, darkness doing the work. The series shares a spine, so venue number three instantly recognises the brand from venue one — which is how touring shows build a name.
The takeaway for your business
If you sell an experience, sell the feeling of being there — not the logistics. Dates and prices belong in small type; the shiver belongs at 200 points.
